A group of adopted teens Pact believes it is important for adoptive parents to have “safe” zones where pre-adoptive and post-adoption parents can discuss their ideas and issues and spend time together with other folks who share their situations and concerns. Online groups provide parents with a convenient way to connect with each other, wherever they live and whenever they have the time. Whether you are a parent of color, a LGBTQ parent, parenting across racial lines, or parenting on your own, we can connect you with a group of parents who understand where you’re coming from.

Pact staff people are non-posting list members. Although these lists bear our organization's name, Pact does not take responsibility for nor ownership of any of the individual postings on the lists, although we do reserve the right to block members who are not respectful of other members or Pact’s mission and values. If you are interested in Pact's viewpoint on race, adoption and parenting, please check out our Mission & Overview and our Values Statement.
