Children need support in the lifelong journey of adoption — and so do their parents.

Being the best parent you can be is a continuous challenge. Sometimes reading a parenting book or attending a class is not enough—what you need is a safe, supportive environment where you can get ongoing feedback and advice from a community of peers who understand your family and share your aspirations and concerns. As your children get older, they too need a supportive community of peers with whom they can process their thoughts and feelings. In order to meet these needs, Pact has developed a range of services that can connect you to other families like your own. We have online discussion groups, facilitated in-person discussion groups, and play groups—all for parents who have adopted children of color. Wherever you live and whatever your situation, you are not alone—let Pact connect you with other parents who understand where you're coming from.
