Children need support in the lifelong journey of adoption — and so do their parents.

Being the best parent you can be is a continuous challenge. Sometimes reading a parenting book or attending a class is not enough—what you need is a safe, supportive environment where you can get ongoing feedback and advice from a community of peers who understand your family and share your aspirations and concerns. Children too benefit from a supportive community of peers with whom they share experiences and as they get older can process their thoughts and feelings. In order to meet these needs, Pact has developed a range of services that can connect you to other families like your own.

We strive to make our programs as inclusive as possible—if you see a need for additional support services that Pact should be offering, please contact us.

For adoptive parents who live in the San Francisco Bay Area, Pact occasionally offers facilitated discussion groups and/or one time workshops, at which a Pact staff member or an invited guest speaker leads parents in a group exploration of issues that are relevant to their families.
