We are pleased to speak to groups of adoptive parents as well as adoption and educational professionals on a variety of topics related to adoption and race. Below we list specific topics (in alphabetical order) groups often ask us to present. We offer presentations that can range from one hour to half-day or daylong workshops. We are happy to discuss your group's needs, and to tailor our presentations accordingly. We have also outlined the logistics for Pact speakers below. We have found that being specific beforehand helps to avoid any confusion. We hope this information will be helpful. Logistics
for conferences where Beth Hall, Director, or Julie Randolph, Adoption Specialist, presents

1. Speaking fees are $1000 per day ($600 per 1/2 day) for each speaker provided to be made payable to Pact, An Adoption Alliance on the day of the event. For small non-profit or grass roots organizations we can discuss the possibility of a fee reduction. When the event is held outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, we expect the sponsoring organization to provide transportation (where air travel is necessary we ask that the ticket be provided prior to flight) and accommodations.
2. We require final approval of all promotional materials and agendas. We also require the opportunity to provide Pact materials and publications to all participants at the event.
3. If you would like to tape our presentation, you may do so as long as we can use the tape for other Pact training purposes after your event. If you choose to sell the tape, we will grant full permission for you to retain all sales profits.
4. In order to hold the date for you event, we ask for confirmation at least two months in advance.
