Description:	We're pleased to announce that Pact is planning its 8th camp for Adoptive Families With Children of Color. The theme for camp is "Putting It All Together: Families, Adoption & Race." Adult Adoptee camp: This program will be running concurrently to our family camp and is for adult adoptees only. 		We've planned an exciting program that includes a rich blend of education, community-building, sharing and recreation. Enjoying group activities together in the woods, in the pool, and at mealtimes will provide wonderful opportunities to connect. Most of the families who attend camp are transracial (parenting children across racial lines) but we welcome all families, whether your adoption was domestic or international, and whether you have birth kids along with adopted kids. Pact Family Camp brings together families with adopted children of color to share their experiences, learn from experts and each other, and enjoy each other's company. Many families have told us that their time at Camp had a profound effect, offering them a community they can't find anyplace else. We are excited to be joined by adult adoptees of color, who are also renowned adoption professionals, researchers and authors. Parents will hear from speakers and have conversations about parenting, adoption and race, that will help them be the best that they can be for their children. Kids will find other kids who are like them in very significant ways. For many kids, Pact Family Camp is one place where they really feel they belong. From the youngest children to older youth, each group will have many opportunities for sharing, making meaningful connections and having fun.
