Adoptive parents of color and their parenting partners are underserved and often invisible in adoption. African Americans and Latinos actually adopt at higher rates that whites, but too often the face of adoptive parents is depicted as mostly white. Articles include family stories of adoptive parents of color as well as culture-specific parenting strategies and challenges, and the racial politics of adoption.
