Adoptive/Foster Parents of Older Teens & Young Adults Support Group (for current Pact members)
Prevailing societal norms in much of the world tell parents and youth that young people should be prepared to launch as soon as they become legal adults at age eighteen, yet many are struggling to find their way, whether or not we are noticing. For adopted teens and young adults, as well as current and former foster youth, the journey to adulthood is more complex, bridging challenges of race, identity, loss and much more.
Join Pact’s Executive Director and fellow adoptive parent, Beth Hall, to find community and share about parenting adopted and current or former foster youth and young adults during these transformative years when it is so crucial to remain connected.
This group focuses on the needs of families with young people ages 16-28 and meets every other month.
For current Pact members only. If you are not a current member you can join here: https://www.pactadopt.org/membership/join.asp Call in instructions will be emailed after registration.
